Yoga classes

All new participants need to complete a health questionnaire (Click Here) before participating to their first class - bring your form to the first class.  Please call or email me to obtain a form.  Spaces are limited.  Important: please book on line to avoid disappointment.   Or if you are unable to book on line, please call or drop me a message before the class to check the availability.

Whilst yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities, if you have had any recent injuries or recovering from an operation, please contact me before you book a class.

General Information:  mats, blocks and belts are provided - however if you have your own mat, do bring it along.  It is recommended that you practise yoga at least 2 hours after a light meal and 4 hours after  a large meal.  Please wear comfortable clothes.  Yoga is practised with bare feet, do make sure that you bring socks and a blanket for relaxation.   Some of the classes are small to have the opportunity to  give more attention to the participants.  Whilst yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities, if you have had any recent injuries or recovering from an operation, please contact me before you book a class.


Yoga Level 1 & 2

Mondays, evening 7:00pm to 8:15pm

This yoga class is suitable for Level 1 and Level 2, beginners and improvers.  Each session is a building block, focusing on improving strength and flexibility; plenty of modifications and options are given during the practice to suit all levels.  During the practice we will work on connecting movement and breathing, learning breathing techniques (pranayama) that are so important for our well-being, during our practice as as well as in everyday life.  The aim of the class is to make you feel relaxed and grounded with better knowledge of your body’s potentials and challenges. Beginners welcome. Must be 18 years+ . Not suitable during pregnancy. Places available - 18

£8 per person per class. Class Passes for 3 or 5 classes are available at a reduced rate. New students taster fee: £5.

Gentle Yoga

Fridays, mornings, 3 sessions of 1 hour: 9:30am, 10:45am and 12 noon

at Banstead Church Institute, Gable Room (entrance at the back of the cafe or through the cafe) SM7 2NN

A gentle, paced and restorative class, focused on relaxing postures, to help improve flexibility, balance and mobility.    Each session is designed so that yoga can be practised on the mat as well as on a chair.  We will focus on the correct alignment of the body and learn relaxing breathing techniques, connect the movement with the breathing. Ideal for those looking to improve their general well-being.  This class is suitable for 55 years+

Places available - 8, so booking in advance is recommended.

£6 pp drop in, £5 per person per class when you book on line or prepay


Cancellation/Transfers/Refunds policy

Transfers: you can transfer an on-line booking to another date for that type of class up to 2 hours of the start of the class.

Cancellation: If you are unable to come to the class and you have booked, transfer of the booking is preferable; however, should you wish to cancel an on-line booking, the request will only be processed if the cancellation is received 24 hours before the start time and the class fee - minus any applicable transaction fee charged to me when you book - will be refunded to you. No refunds will be made if you miss the class and you have not transferred the ticket or informed me. If a class is cancelled by the venue or by me for whatever reasons and you have booked and paid for that class, a full refund will be made to you.
