Gentle Yoga - A rejuvenating practice

In Gentle Yoga I include standing postures, especially weight bearing poses that are good for bone strengthening and gentle sequences. Sometimes we use the chair for support or to understand how we can make more space to breathe, tone the muscles and stretch the connective tissues, for example in Trikonasana (see image). A selection of supine and prone poses are done on the mat, in a logical sequence of backbends and sidebends. At the end of the class, a deserving relaxation in Savasana completes the practice.
